About The Program

The National Superintendents Forum stands as an esteemed assembly, bringing together Superintendents from K-12 Public School Districts nationwide. A diverse array of districts, hailing from over 20 states and encompassing both rural and urban landscapes, will converge, each grappling with its distinct set of challenges. District sizes will vary significantly, spanning from 2,000 to well over 100,000 students.

Within the program, participants can anticipate a rich tapestry of knowledge with over 20 Superintendent-led content sessions. These sessions are thoughtfully crafted to address timely and pertinent issues prevalent in the ever-evolving landscape of the K-12 industry, with a keen focus on the unique challenges faced by Superintendents.

Topics of Discussion

Effective school leaders must navigate ideological divides while keeping students’ needs at the center. Visionary leadership inspires unity by focusing on shared values and long-term purpose.

The rapid spread of information online requires educators to respond quickly to digital rumors and threats. Proactive monitoring, communication, and student education are essential to maintaining a safe learning environment.

Engaging families as true partners moves beyond participation and invites them into meaningful decision-making. When families share ownership, schools build stronger trust and improve student outcomes.

Highlighting positive stories helps counter misconceptions and strengthens community support. Intentional, transparent communication ensures stakeholders see the impact schools make every day.

Artificial intelligence offers exciting possibilities for personalization and efficiency, but its limitations must be understood. Leaders must balance enthusiasm with responsible implementation and clear expectations.

Rising student behavioral needs reflect deeper mental health struggles intensified by social and economic pressures. Schools must combine compassionate support with consistent systems to help students thrive.

Integrating AI into classrooms requires thoughtful leadership that protects instructional quality while embracing new tools. Successful leaders guide staff in using AI to enhance—not replace—effective teaching.

Inclusive schools design learning environments where all students can access grade-level content with appropriate support. Collaboration, differentiated instruction, and strong IEP practices drive meaningful inclusion.

Using data strategically helps leaders identify gaps, target interventions, and measure progress. When used thoughtfully, data empowers educators to make informed decisions that elevate student performance.

Economic volatility and shifting political priorities put pressure on school budgets. Leaders must advocate effectively while leveraging creative solutions to sustain programs and services.

Building a strong educator pipeline requires supportive work conditions, competitive compensation, and purposeful mentoring. Retaining staff demands a culture where teachers feel valued, supported, and able to grow professionally.

Delegate Testimonials

Krislynn Dengler
Superintendent, Glens Falls City School District (NY)

I only went through the first day and I can already say that this event will have provided a catalyst for change with speed I wouldn’t have had without this experience.

Stephen W. McCanless
Superintendent, Cleveland Independent School District (TX)

RTM has exceeded my expectations. In all my 20 years of attending various conferences and workshops, I learned more at RTM on day 1 alone, and there are 2 more days of this conference! RTM has hit it out of the ballpark!!

Michelle DeWitt
Superintendent, Lyford Consolidated Independent School District (TX)

This has been an outstanding conference. The setup has made every meeting and session very intentional supporting the specific needs at my district.

Jason Mundorf
Superintendent, Kearney Public Schools (NE)

The RTM conference was incredibly well organized with a plethora of topics and information that is valuable for Superintendents. The discussions with other practicioners will illuminate strategies for improvement and ideas for improvement consideration. The conference is definitely worth your time!
